Seven judging schools were held throughout New Zealand with 146 women completing the course. The schools were held at Ngatea with Nola Walker; Oamaru with Bev Gardner; Motueka with Kay Hart; Wanganui, Feilding, Levin and Woodville with Trish McMillan.
The comments and congratulations from these schools have been very rewarding and have given us the encouragement to continue with them again this year. The tutors enjoyed their task and made their classes entertaining fun days with some very satisfied pupils. The NEC wish to thank the tutors who gave up their time to carry out the courses for enhancing the new 'judges' skills giving then the confidence to go out into the WIs and public to judge.
